The risk of infection by medical personnel though accidental injection is well known.
Now there is a safety wing cannula:

• Injection takes place as usual, however, when removing the cannula, the springs at the side cause the used cannula to retract into the safety tube.
• The cannula cannot be re-used and there is no risk of infection.
• Sterile and singly packed, dispenser = 50 pieces
